하나님을 향한 우리의 사랑은 변해도 우리를 향한 하나님의 사랑은 결코 변하지 않아요. 십자가 죽음에 내주신 예수님이 그 증거예요. 바울은 “누가 우리를 그리스도의 사랑에서 끊을 수 있겠습니까?”라고 했는데(35절), 최종 결론은 “그 무엇도 우리를 하나님의 사랑에서 끊을 수 없다.”라는 거예요.
Our love toward God may change, but God’s love for us never changes. Jesus’ death on the cross is the proof. Paul asked, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?” (v. 35), and the conclusion is this: “Nothing can separate us from the love of God.”

하나님의 사랑과 예수 그리스도의 사랑은 너무나도 확실하기에, 그 사랑에 근거한 우리의 구원은 영원히 변하지 않아요. 구원받은 성도들도 이 세상에서 죄 가운데 살며 시련과 역경을 경험해요. 하지만 하나님이 우리를 내버려두지 않으시고 성령을 보내셔서 하나님 자녀답게 살아갈 힘과 능력을 주세요(8:26). 그러므로 우리는 시련과 역경 때문에 잠시 실망하기도 하지만 영원히 낙심하지 않을 수 있어요. 우리를 사랑하시는 하나님은 하나뿐인 아들까지 아끼지 않고 내어 주셨어요. 이런 하나님 사랑에서 우리를 끊을 수 있는 것은 아무것도 없어요. 사람들이 두려워하는 사망도, 영적 존재인 천사나 권세자(악마)도, 현재 일이나 장래 일도, 이 세상의 어떤 능력으로도, 하늘의 높음이나 바다의 깊음도, 하나님이 만드신 다른 어떤 피조물도 하나님 사랑에서 우리를 끊을 수 없어요. 우리의 손을 절대 놓지 않으실 하나님의 사랑을 확신하는 사람은 두려워할 것도 없고 무서워서 도망갈 이유도 없어요.

God’s love and the love of Christ are so certain that the salvation based on that love will never change. Even those who are saved still live in this world amid sin, trials, and hardships. Yet God does not abandon us. He sends the Holy Spirit to give us strength and power to live as children of God (Romans 8:26). So although we may be momentarily discouraged by trials and hardships, we can never be ultimately defeated. God, who loves us, did not spare even His only Son. There is nothing that can separate us from such love. Not death, which people fear; not angels or rulers (demons); not present or future things; not any power in this world; not the height of heaven or the depth of the sea; nor any other created thing can separate us from God’s love. Anyone who is assured of God’s love—which will never let go of our hands—has nothing to fear and no reason to run away.
“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words” (Romans 8:26).

God showed the greatest love by not sparing His own Son but giving Him up for us. The love of God revealed in Christ Jesus is so great and amazing that nothing in this world can replace it. Nothing in the world can neutralize God’s love. At times, evil powers may look strong, and rulers of this world may look mighty, but remember that God’s love, which saved us, is greater and more powerful. Believing in the love of God that nothing can break, we do not despair even when hardships come, but remain bold. Also remember that the hardships we face in life can ultimately become a channel that makes our relationship with God’s love even stronger.

우리가 느끼는 하나님 사랑은 우리가 처한 환경과 상황에 좌우될 때가 많아요. 그러나 하나님 사랑은 변함이 없어요. 나를 향한 하나님의 사랑이 변함없음을 확신하면 하루하루 담대하게 살 수 있어요. 어떤 상황도, 사람도 문제 되지 않아요. 사랑의 하나님이 함께하시며 도우시기 때문이에요. 우리를 사랑하시는 하나님은 천지를 지으신 창조주 하나님이세요. 나의 연약함과 상관없이 하나님의 사랑은 흔들리지 않는 반석과 같음을 기억하길 바라요.
The love of God we feel often depends on our circumstances and situations. But God’s love never changes. If you are assured of God’s unchanging love for you, you can live boldly day by day. No situation or person can truly hinder you, because the God of love is with you and helps you. The God who loves us is the Creator of heaven and earth. Regardless of our weakness, God’s love is like an unshakable rock.

1. 찬양 ‘예수님의 사랑 신기하고 놀라워’의 악보와 영상을 보고 함께 부르며 연습합니다.
2. 연주할 악기를 하나씩 선택합니다.
3. 몇 차례 연습한 후 함께 악기를 연주하며 찬양을 부릅니다.
4. 삼각대에 스마트폰을 설치하고, 가족이 찬양하는 모습을 영상으로 담아 봅니다.
하나님의 사랑을 머릿속에 그리며 신나게 찬양해 보세요. 악기가 없다면 집에 있는 물건 중 두드리거나 흔들며 리듬을 맞출 수 있는 것을 활용해 보세요.

1. Watch the sheet music and video for Jesus’ Love Is Wonderful and practice singing together.
2. Choose one instrument each to play.
3. After a few practices, play the instruments together while singing.
4. Set up a smartphone on a tripod and record your family praising together.
Imagine God’s love in your mind as you praise joyfully. If you don’t have instruments, use objects around the house that can be tapped or shaken to make rhythm.

가정예배를 마친 후에는 함께 주일예배를 준비합니다. After family worship, prepare for Sunday service together.
1. 부모는 자녀에게 주일의 중요성과 예배의 소중함을 일깨워 줍니다. – Parents remind their children of the importance of Sunday and the value of worship.
